Scope and Applicability
This warranty applies to Filtra Autoparts products that have been installed in accordance with the current published instructions and used in line with the recommendations of vehicle, engine or equipment manufacturers. Products must be fitted to vehicles or equipment in their original specification.
Defective Product Replacement
Should any item prove defective due to faulty materials or workmanship, we will replace it at no cost to you. Our goal is to ensure you receive only parts of the highest standard.
Damage Restoration
In the unlikely event that an engine or other equipment is damaged as a direct result of a proven defective Filtra product, we will cover the cost of restoring the machinery to its pre-damage condition, subject to prior inspection and approval.
Exclusions and Limitations
This warranty does not extend to:
- Consequential or incidental damage
- Products fitted to modified or non-standard vehicles or equipment
- Damage arising from misuse, neglect, accident, improper maintenance, operation or installation
To preserve your rights under this warranty, you must notify us promptly of any claim and ensure the product—or the affected equipment—remains available for inspection before any repairs or dismantling commence.
Making a Claim
To expedite assessment and resolution:
- Return the suspect item to your point of purchase.
- Provide proof of purchase and a brief description of the defect.
- We will inspect the product and confirm coverage under this policy.
Your Legal Rights
This warranty is a voluntary commitment by Filtra Autoparts and does not affect any statutory rights you hold under Australian consumer law. It neither limits nor excludes any legal liability we may have beyond what the law allows.
